Bluegrass Dulcimer Day 2026

A Day of Workshops, Community Resourcing, and Support for people who play Mountain and Hammered Dulcimer

What:  An educational gathering to celebrate performers, instructors, and equip players of mountain and hammered dulcimer in the bluegrass genre.

Bluegrass Dulcimer Day Teachers


When:  February 28, 2025  9 am to 7:45 pm CST

This day will feature:

1.  (6) hour-long Workshops by respected Hammered & Mountain Dulcimer teacher-players

2.  Pre and Post-Festival Access to the DulcimerCrossing Course by Steve Eulberg: Playing Bluegrass on Mountain Dulcimer

3.  An Opening Forum to meet our Instructors hosted by 

4.  Participant Interaction / Open Mic / Conversation / Optional Breakout Rooms

5.  A Closing Jam led by the instructors.

6.  A Library of Bluegrass Backing Tracks

7. Archive videos of the day's workshops and events.

This day is designed to be an interactive experience with a dedicated opportunity for players to interact with each other and share the music and bluegrass styles they've been exploring on mountain and hammered dulcimers.

Closing Jam

To conclude the day we'll have a Bluegrass Jam led by each of the faculty in a Round-Robin format!
